The deal between MS and Mistwalker was to make three titles, the first two didn't sell well, so they canned the third, and I remember reading somewhere that they will be makeing Wii and handheld titles for now due to some financial issues.

But Mistwalker canceled their 360 exclusive JRPG sometime ago and have moved to developing handheld games for the moment, you might have to get a DS/PSP for BD2 or wait 2 years for Mistwalker to get back to developing consoles games and 2 more years for BD2 to comes out....

Yeah controls do matter, that's why PC have and will always be the best environment for FPS games.
Not to say the Wii can't have good FPS games though, Metroid Prime 3 was damn awesome, but I'll wait for something bigger than thumbnail size images to get excited about The Conduit.
